SEESAW (part 1)

We have uncles who make promises that will never come true,we also have school certificates that beautify the walls of our parents living rooms as life dry fries us in the city

We sell our principles,our ideas,our time,our bodies and even our souls for survival

We first hope,then we dream dreams that evolve to delusions and finally eat up our mental health

At last we hit 40,fucked up and out of focus

If I was writing about miseries of today's youthaman a blog post wouldn't be enough but the myths and miscalculations can be talked about

1.CONNECTIONS-A network build by guidance of street knowledge perceived to secure a link to success(urban dictionary definition)

This term fell out of context a long time ago.

Let's say You find yourself drinking with some big names,or having sex with them and in that moment of ectasy when brain cells are being boiled promises are made,promises that will forever be procrastinated

Sorry to burst your bubble but that's what it will forever be,drinking spree month after month and when you are wasted  you get dumped

Why?

Because you miss the fine line between favours and connections.

Connections is an exchange of value.what you bring,it's urgency and it's benefit plus demand

favour is Charity.zero profit,double responsibility and unnecessary vouch

So you come to the table only with your body and burdens with charming smiles and expect to benefit from links generated during euphoric moments?you will forever post about connections but will never get a chance to ride in them

If you are street smart ,you already know how the game is played

2 SOCIAL MEDIA

We have content creators and Tiktok influencers who are driving Porsches around town and enjoying vaccations in islands of Madagascar

It's proof of a 20 year old living the American dream

Still on top of that layer there are thousands of other fakers doing shoots in pent houses and Ferrari showrooms

You log in and scroll through these feeds either script or real and something snaps that you are late or loosing it

You now get a point of influence,you iconise the stupidest profiles and ideas,you get charged with the thought of fast money(it's not a bad thought)but chances of you missing  a real existing opportunity stands at 70%

You put up a strong image but silently cry reading trolling comments. At the end the followers you worship break you

Fighting for a fake life you loose real chances,you hurt yourself and auction your peace of mind to strangers
